Data this is not matched with an audience is not living data. Living data has impact. This is not a critique of pure research. Sometimes pure research produces seeds which blossom decades from now.

However, even pure research needs to get published. What are your processes for bringing data alive? How do you match data with the right audiences, and shape your insight pipeline so that data’s relevance is fully revealed?

For fun, below I developed infographics contrasting how academic projects are developed to how other data-driven projects might be developed.
